A Burn Disc function has been added so that pictures can be stored on a CD/DVD.
Support for drag-and-drop operations has been improved. Collections and folders displayed in the collection list can be copied or moved with drag-and-drop operations. New collections can now be created from the Windows Explorer by simply dragging image folders to the collection list.
A 'Copy original files' option has been added to Import Assistant, this allows images from removable media such as CD-ROM to be imported.
The 'Redo changes' button in the Edit display has been removed.
The Red-eye correction function in the Edit display has been changed so that red-eye correction is now performed manually.
New Functions have been added to the Design mode, text can be input with images and the page layout changed using drag-and-drop operations. In addition to features that allow users to print or send images via e-mail, selected images or collections can now be uploaded to on-line photo albums, displayed in slide shows, or saved to CD or DVD.
Images were printed with a margin despite borderless print being selected in the Page Setup dialog. This problem has been corrected.
When images captured in landscape (horizontal) orientation were printed with Rotate images to fit selected in the Page Setup dialog, the date was printed in the right corner. This problem has been corrected.
A problem that prevented printing with Windows 98SE and Windows ME operating environments has been corrected.
