IBM ThinkPad R61 notebook Hard drive firmware update utility (Bootable CD ISO) v.Release FWSH12 This utility will examine your system configuration and detect all the hard drives installed. It will then check the firmware revision of the drive and judge whether your system requires a firmware update.This firmware package is supported on the following systems:- ThinkPad R60, R60e, R60i- ThinkPad R61, R61e, R61i- ThinkPad T60, T60p- ThinkPad T61, T61p- ThinkPad X60, X60s, X60 Tablet- ThinkPad X61, X61s, X61 Tablet- ThinkPad Z60m, Z60t- ThinkPad Z61e, Z61m, Z61p, Z61tNotes: - This firmware update includes the fix for the case on a system with Microsoft Windows Vista, that the system may become to display the following error message at each power on, and then cannot boot from the hard drive. "2100: Initialization error on HDD0 (Main hard disk drive)"- If you have applied FWSH02(now discarded) with Toshiba MKxx32GSX or MKxx34GSX and plan to install Windows Vista, please apply FWSH04 or higher, otherwise Windows Vista will blue screen and stop.
